Cegin Pennant, owned and run by Eluned Owen, is a true farmers' market producer of preserves, chutneys and baked goods which are created using only local ingredients (where practicable).

Eluned doesn’t like to use ingredients unless she knows where they are from which pretty much guarantees an excellent product. Her raspberry jam won first prize at the Eglwysbach Show. Specialities in the baked goods are bara brith, fruit pies and Welsh cakes, baked using free range eggs. Her produce is sold through Pantri Cymraeg, The Maes, Caernarfon, Café Cwrt in Cricceith and the café at the garden centre Bryncir, as well as at Bangor Market and, of course, through BritShopS.
