We received the news this week that, for the first time, BritShopS will have a pitch at a local fair. Why not come and visit us at the St. Francis of Assisi Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 17th November 2007 from 10am at St Francis of Assisi Church Hall, Ravenswood Avenue, West Wickham, Kent and try some of our wonderful British made produce. We will have a broad spectrum of products available from our wide ranging stock, some of which you will be able to try before you buy.
The BritShopS team are looking forward to this Bazaar and we would be delighted to meet you there.
The BritShopS Team would like to extend a specially warm welcome to
readers of In Britain magazine following their news item about us in the September to November edition.
We love sweeties! Who doesn't? Now our prayers have been answered by the addition of Brays Sweets to our ever increasing list of suppliers. In our new Confectionery store you will find a selection of Brays' finest sweets including the Lossin Dant Welsh mints, Welsh fudge and toffee, and many other fabulous sweets. Some are available in olde fashioned Brown Kraft Bags or presentation gift boxes and some are just the traditional old glass sweet jars. You can even buy packets of sweets in a quality ceramic commemorative Welsh Dragon mug. A perfect gift for any friends or relatives you may have in the Welsh speaking South American country of Patagonia!
Why not indulge yourself and buy some of these fabulous sweets today? For the sake of our health we need you to before we eat all the stock ourselves!!!
Keep checking the News page for further updates on new products and events.
Arguably, Greg D’Souza is one of the finest surrealist and fantasy artists currently working in this country and we are delighted to announce that you can now purchase some of his work through us at BritShopS. We currently have four examples of Greg's work available: The Drover, with its evocative memories of the hard working, weather-beaten men of the Australian outback where Greg once lived; the beautiful, serene and timely reminder of the fragility of our earth depicted in The Last Polar Bear; the lonely figure glimpsed after a long climb in the magnificent landscape inspired by and entitled The Rockies; and the dark, foreboding, almost menacing atmosphere evoked in the extraordinary After The Storm with quite literal rays of sunshine and hope emerging from the dark clouds.
We are hopeful that Greg will be providing more of his fantastic artwork and sculpture in the near future. Watch this space for more information.
Following our breaking news just over a week ago, the Davenport Vineyards 2004 vintage Limney Estate sparkling wine was disgorged last week and is freshly bottled. It will be available for sale through BritShopS a few hours from now on Saturday 16th June 2007.
Limney Estate is produced by a delicate combination of Pinot Noir and Auxerrois grapes which combine to make a stunning, crisp, dry, sparkling white wine with the added advantage of a long lasting fizz! The perfect accompaniment for those heat soaked summer barbecues and garden parties, or that special family celebration.
We have today struck a deal with Davenport Vineyards to sell their wines on our shops site. A sparkling white will be available to purchase through BritShopS soon. More news on this and other progress to follow shortly.
We have just completed negotiations with Jethro's Marinades to bring you a full range of handmade marinades, sauces, dressings and glazes, all made from 100% natural ingredients. At the time of writing we are awaiting photographs, but the full Jethro's range is available on our ShopS site — the only web-shop where you can purchase Jethro's products online — and accompanying most of the items there is even a recipe suggestion.
A warm welcome to all our producers, customers, and customers-yet-to-be on the occasion of the launch of this our new BritShopS Information site.
And a particularly warm welcome to readers of Best of British magazine who may well be visiting us having read our press release.
